Why PrimaFahrten was founded
PrimaFahrten grew from personal experience. We know that, for people with limited mobility, a journey often does not start at the vehicle: it starts at the front door, a staircase, a lift that is too small or an entrance that is difficult to reach. That is why we do not look only at travel from A to B. We want to understand what you actually need along the way.

Nabeel is a father, software engineer, PrimaFahrten co-founder and wheelchair user. He brings his personal experience of mobility to the company alongside a structured approach to processes and technology. Many details that can easily be missed when planning a ride are part of his everyday experience.

What matters to us on every ride
Co-founder Nabeel M. Chaudhry is a wheelchair user and knows many everyday barriers to accessible mobility first-hand. This became very concrete while PrimaFahrten was being founded: the originally planned notary office had to be changed because its premises were not accessible to Nabeel. A broken lift, a few steps or an unsuitable entrance can turn an otherwise straightforward appointment into a real problem.
This is why we wanted to build a transport service that sees the whole journey, not only the route. Our experience influences vehicle selection and the planning of each individual ride. It includes lifts for a safe entry, suitable securing and restraint systems, and careful coordination before the ride. Personal contact matters just as much: when something is unclear or a ride has particular requirements, we discuss it and consider together how it can be arranged.
Every ride is a little different
A wheelchair or walking aid, stairs at the entrance, a small lift, an accompanying person or a planned return journey: sometimes small details determine how a ride can best be organised. We would rather ask one more question than make a general promise. Once we know your route and mobility requirements, we can assess which vehicle and process may suit your request. If we cannot reliably provide something, we will say so openly. An honest answer is more important to us than a promise we cannot keep.
Transport services in Berlin
PrimaFahrten offers different transport services for people with mobility needs. These include accessible transport, wheelchair transport, medical rides, medical and rehabilitation rides, regular journeys and school and work rides. Requests can also be made for therapy rides, senior rides and airport transfers. When stairs need to be negotiated between a home and the vehicle, our stair-chair service can also be requested. The service overview helps you identify the option that may suit your situation.
