Share wheelchair, access and destination details when requesting a ride.
PrimaFahrten accepts requests from passengers who need transport adapted to a disability or limited mobility. Private appointments, leisure activities, visits, work and scheduled medical appointments can be planned individually.
Details needed for the request
Provide the pickup point, destination, date and preferred time. Describe any wheelchair or walking aid, stairs, floor, lift, accompanying person and known return journey. Narrow entrances, long paths between the building and vehicle, and special pickup points should also be included.
Door-to-door assistance
PrimaFahrten provides door-to-door assistance, for example with walking, pushing a wheelchair, stairs, baggage or medical equipment. The required support is coordinated from the details of the individual request.
We agree in advance where support should start and end: for example at the apartment, building entrance, vehicle, reception, facility entrance, waiting area or another handover point. Where stairs require a stair chair or additional staff, this is assessed as a separate service.
PrimaFahrten operates five licensed Mercedes Sprinters converted for wheelchair-accessible transport. Depending on the individual vehicle configuration, several wheelchair users can travel together; the largest configurations provide up to six wheelchair spaces.
Individual and recurring rides
Up to seven accompanying people can travel at no additional cost; include the number of people and any baggage in the request. For recurring journeys, include the weekdays, times, period and any requirements that remain the same. PrimaFahrten reviews the submitted details and coordinates the specific journey before confirmation.
Email is particularly useful for recurring rides, documents and cost-estimate requests. A familiar driver can be considered where operations allow, but cannot be guaranteed.
Accessible transport throughout Berlin
PrimaFahrten accepts requests from all twelve Berlin districts, including rides between districts. The district pages list their localities and planning considerations; the exact address and actual building access remain decisive.
