PrimaFahrten aims to make this website independently and reliably usable by as many people as possible, regardless of physical, sensory or technical circumstances. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformance level AA, as our orientation.
Our service and this website
PrimaFahrten provides transport services in Berlin and beyond, including accessible rides, wheelchair transport, medical and therapy rides, recurring rides and individually arranged private rides. Visitors can learn about services, contact us and submit a ride request here.
A ride request is not an automatic booking confirmation. We review feasibility, availability, requirements and, where relevant, price before coordinating the ride with you.
Current testing status
The current local automated test successfully loaded and tested 120 public German and English pages. It found no confirmed axe-core violation groups. All reviewed image contexts were classified, with no open cases in the automated image-alt review.
Automated tests are performed locally with Playwright and axe-core across both language versions. They cannot assess every accessibility requirement and do not replace complete testing with all assistive technologies and usage situations.
Improvements implemented
Work has included form labels, required-field information, understandable errors and error summaries; focus management after validation errors; visible keyboard focus; duplicate-submission protection; keyboard-friendly date/time input; and navigation and language-switch improvements.
Informative images receive meaningful text alternatives. Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technologies to avoid unnecessary screen-reader noise. Logos and functional icons receive appropriate labels.
Keyboard, navigation and forms
Interactive elements are intended to work without a mouse. Keyboard operation of navigation, language switching, visible focus states and forms has been reviewed. Forms include programmatically associated labels, required-field information and understandable errors.
Ongoing review
Accessibility is an ongoing quality requirement. New functionality and significant changes will continue to be reviewed. Technical raw reports remain internal working documents because they may contain local paths and diagnostic information.
