Regular and recurring rides in Berlin

PrimaFahrten organises recurring journeys for medical appointments, school, daycare, work and participation. Schedules remain tailored to the individual route, mobility needs and approval process.

Which journeys can be regular?

Regular rides can include journeys to dialysis, physiotherapy, psychotherapy, respiratory therapy, art therapy, school, daycare, work, workshops for people with disabilities or day-support centres. A ride that takes place regularly is not automatically a formal series treatment (“Serienbehandlung”) under German health-insurance rules. Approval and billing requirements depend on the individual case.

Planning the return journey

We agree fixed schedules where that is practical. Where the end time of an appointment cannot be predicted precisely, we plan the return journey with a realistic time window rather than promising an exact pickup time that cannot be guaranteed. We take planned onward journeys into account when looking for the earliest practical return ride after a delay.

Costs and approval

We can review the route and prepare an individual cost estimate where needed. A cost carrier may be responsible only in an individually approved case with the required documents; the decision remains with the responsible payer.
